Summer Camp 2004
May 25th, 2004Nikolai has posted pics from SXSW 2004. My favorites are the action shots of the kickball tournament. Everyone looks their best when making crazy grimaces while attempting to kick a ball with a quickness.
Looking back, it was probably the best year so far. It is basically like a family reunion, or summer camp. 2003 was kinda weird, I had fun, but something was up. But 2004 was full of laughs and fun people and fun times.
I’ve gotten over my angst about missing the bloggies (because I am too spacey for words), and about time running out for the open-mic sign-ups at Fray Cafe. I know I’d be the most horrific host. I would say things like “Look, you’re cute and very very talented, but get yer ass off the stage. 5 minutes!” My devil horns would start poking out from my hairline. I would not be very polite. I think this is probably due to law school flash-backs. But, I’ve accepted my limitations in this area.
