I just made two of these snow globes using two figurines from the dollar store, glitter bought for another project, and two mason jars I bought for packaging bath salts that never happened. They look very cute! I also baked some goodies for Clayton and Gilberto, and put the finishing touches on Audra and Kim’s presents! Whoo hoo! I love Chrismas. Deck them halls and all that stuff!
I received my soap and lotion from Sudsalicious yesterday. All I can say is yum! Christine made me a blend of lavender and vanilla lotion at my request. The lotion is awesome. It is very thick and not too oily. Very scrumptious because there is shea butter in it! I haven’t used the soaps yet but the smell heavenly and look very pretty! I gave some of my wine charms, coasters and magnets away last night! They were a hit!
A bunch of friends and I (including Audra and Kim) went and saw Gangs of NY. It was okay. I thought the acting was awesome and the story was good up until the end. It was a highly developed plot, but just fell apart at the climax. Well, I wouldn’t say fell apart. In lieu of climax there was confusion. It was sort of like West Side Story meets the Gladiator set in Civil War New York. Without singing, and with more violence. A great deal more violence. I’ve seen less squirts of blood in a 24 hour Doom marathon.
Kim’s having us all over tomorrow to exchange presents and party together! I can’t wait! Well, I’m off to the Dollar Store. That is truly the best place to get wrapping supplies!
